COMPANY PROFILE AND SPONSERS

Established in 2000 Saxon motorsport specialize in the preparation, build and maintenance of circuit racing and rally vehicles.

Our highly experienced technicians have gathered their knowledge from a number of different disciplines; circuit racing, rallying, sprinting, hill climbing and Karting.

Our current circuit racing involvement spans from Caterhamesque type vehicles through to Touring Car Specification Saloons. Our Championship Experience includes V6 and V8 Eurocars, Kit Cars, Caterhams, Ginettas, Volkswagen Cup, Renault Clio Cup and mixed Class Endurance Racing such as Britcar.

In 2004 Saxon designed and built a VW Corrado into the UK Volkswagen Racing Cup, using the championship as an active development ground the car achieved 2 wins and a string of podium finishes.

Whilst in Rallying the team has benefited from work in both Asphalt and Gravel Rallying. We have gained experience on both front and rear wheel drive cars such as VW Polo, Peugeot 206 and Mk2 Escort’s as well as four wheel drive vehicles such as Escort Cosworth and Subaru Impreza.

In 2004 a Saxon prepared Group A Escort Cosworth flew to third overall in The Wexford Asphalt Rally. We have also been involved in the BTRDA, Irish Forestry Championship and the Southern.
Throughout the last four years Saxon’s continued success and growth has been built on the strict policy applied to all our activities. That is one of providing our customers with the highest quality build, design and preparation service available.
